Of course it's my hot steamy opinion, but it is a genre based entirely off emulating a limited
range of sound and harmony (due to size limitations) to appeal to the "ol' gamer" aesthetic.
Instead of artist trying to make music for music, they make it to appeal to an already
established crowd. It's not even confined into a sound like other genres, it's just confined to a
particular sound and limited range of tune.

most complex sounds with such limited hardware.
