This reminds me of one of the times I hung out with my ex-friend. It was the middle of winter and
we were about teenagers at 13 years old, and we decided to go sledding one last time. Fortunately
there was an extreme blizzard warning, so there was gonna be alot of snow. Probably around 6 feet
or so. We went out to a large hill that we always used to go, started sledding, but eventually
got tired of it. Instead of wandering back home, I suggested that we cut through the nearby
college that was on top of the hill. We walked through the college, and afte a little walking, we
stumbled upon a convenience store. We were practically buried n snow at the time, so we threw our
sleds in some bushes to hide them and wandered in. I had little money, and my friend was broke,
so we decided to just buy a 2 liter soda and share it. We left the store, and it was about 6:00
at night.

We were extremely tired and stopped over at a nearby pole to rest. The blizzard grew stronger and
was about to blow us away, so we sat down in the snow and watched as it grew until an hour
passed. Me and my friend just looked beyond the sunset and watched as the snow grew in complete
and utter silence. It was probably one of the most relaxing moments of my life. After that, we
grabbed our sleds and then terrorized the nearby college. I poured my entire two liter on some
professors desk when he was away, and drew dicks all over the whiteboard with permanent marker,
and my friend flipped a few desks over. We eventually found a nearby computer lab and just
chilled in there for the rest of the night. That college was cozy as fuck.

Yeah, winter snow is cozy as fuck so long as it's not threatening to kill you. Y'know...whiteouts
and shit.

I live in Alabama, where we very rarely get snow. However, this February, we had a cold snap.
Snow everywhere and ice all over the roads. Just in time for me, because I just finished getting
my $350 Jeep Grand Cherokee running (ZJ chassis; '94, melted motor that I replaced; was going to
be scrapped). I'm originally from Illinois, so I already knew how to drive in snow. The Locals
here have NO FUCKING IDEA. They drive 5 MPH and wonder why they just spin their tires going
uphill. So basically I had free reign to go wherever the fuck I wanted while everyone else got
stuck in the ditches. It was amateur night and I was showing everyone else how it's done, plus I
had 4WD which was one hell of a bonus. Driving through intersections doing 4WD drifts,
Scandinavian flicking the vehicle to do 90 degree turns....DAMN that was fun.
