  Hit a milestone tonight in making this. Still have to figure out how to draw multiple starfields

  replace the black with transparency in the starfield symbol and then just add a second one. Also
  you could make things more interesting by allowing higher speeds and a hyperspacey effect

  I have that implemented, but it's commented out at the moment because the second layer fills
  itself with all white pixels for some reason. In native builds it happens to both layers, so it's
  probably an artifact of the way I'm abusing the graphics pipeline to generate starfields in the
  first place. I'll probably have to abuse it even further to get this to work, but I'll figure it
  out somehow.

  It'll have multiple star systems, and you can warp between them to visit different planets and
  stuff. Eventually you'll also be able to land on space stations and buy other ships with better
  or worse top speeds, and optionally an "afterburner" ability that consumes warp fuel for a
  temporary boost.

  What's the point of the down arrow facing you back in the opposite direction of your motion?
  Instead, you should make it point you back to base, maybe, or have a compass or something like
  that.
