Somehow I never got around to watching Terminator. I hear people talk about it all the time, but
it never really drew me in.

This guy goes way too deep with it. Simply speaking, changing the past is impossible. If you are
successful in making the change, there is nothing to prompt you to make the change, thus
reverting the timeline to it's original state. Temporal paradoxes, they're a real bitch.

Well, in order for him to go back in time to prevent John Connor from being killed, time would
have to be a singular timeline, where it loops infinitely, which is impossible, as John would be
aware of his death in the future, and would prevent his own death causing the other guy not to be
forced to go back in time, thus not getting Sarah pregnant, and thus ending his own existence.
