  At the end he's defeated when he wins, destroying the Tree of Life and turning the whole world
  into power/wakfu to send himself back in time... 30 minutes back in time, instead of 250 years
  like his incorrect calculations predicted. All the terrible things he did throughout the series
  that he thought didn't matter, because he was convinced he could undo them all if he could just
  get enough wakfu, and it turns out the only thing he can undo is the destruction of the Tree.

  If it can be spoiled by knowing the ending first, it wasn't very good to begin with. Or maybe
  you're too ADHD to appreciate fine storytelling. Either way you're in for a really rough life if
  that's all it takes.

  I like it because the characters actually have sex, get pregnant, and have babies as part of the
  story, instead of being the usual "immortal and don't need to have children unless the viewership
  declines" of most cartoons.

  And no, a character sexual interaction is does not make it automatically better (although i tend
  yo enjoy it anyways) and the reason why is because sex is not the focus of this series.
