I don't believe those gentlemen were ever even in that race.

That "race" is really more like a pack run than any competition.

that was intense

Racing is all about skill you dumbshit, a good driver with a Ford Ka can win some brat driving a
brand new Lambo.

I dunno, those naturally aspirated Hondas aren't expensive cars. I doubt even in Hong Kong they
would be. They can be had pretty cheaply in Japan, and shipping to Hong Kong isn't exactly a long
way away. But then again, I don't know Hong Kong customs and tariffs.

it's more than just skill. it takes an immense amount of discipline and mental fortitude

Cars are pretty damn cheap over here. Same goes for food, electronics and such.

You know as well as I that that's subjective. Obviously the Ka isn't going to have much of a
chance if the racing just involves a long straight line where all the drivers had to do was bury
the throttle from a roll.
I get what you're saying, and you're right (especially on a very tight technical coarse where the
Ka could actually be at an advantage); just in the future, a little clarification will prevent
annoying comments from coming your way.

I doubt there's any real winning or losing in this scenario...or most highway "racing" for that
matter. Sure you can do cat & mouse rules, but for the most part, a lot of it (and most of the
fun, in my opinion) is the impromptu-ness of it. "These guys are having fun and I want to join
them" kind of mentality. Notice that they're really not pushing themselves like they would if
they were competing against one another. You look at it, and you can still see there's still a
lot of safe room for error. They're by no means any of them driving their cars at 10/10ths. Hell,
you can hear the camera car letting off the throttle repeatedly.

Always good to have uncertainties clarified.
