I do play in that shit filled landfill. But its not the same. It will never have the custom maps
and custom servers that 1.6 had. I mean de_blahhh, he_dodgeball, fy_poolparty, all the custom
vehicle maps, all the kz jumping maps, all the crazy custom zombie and warcraft servers etc etc
etc.
GO will never have that stuff because maps were so much easier to make for 1.6. All we have now
is leet 500 dollar knives and stupid gun skins that completely undermine what counter strike is
really about. Counter strike will never be as good as it once was.

I personally don't like the feel of GO at all for some reason. Almost none of it feels right for
some reason. When they released it the game was ok, but then they went and did the whole season
pass gun skin shit and it just doesn't come off like it's enjoyable anymore

Yeah I feel the same way about it. The only decent thing about cs:go is how easy competitive play
is to get going.
It was a pain in the ass trying to set up competitive matches back in 1.6. Had to go to a special
server, had to make sure everyone got in and prayed that you and your team mates had decent ping
and the admin of the server wasn't a complete tool. lo3 lo3 lo3, and you had to manually keep
track of how many matches you won on each side. It seems like minor stuff but it really was
inconvenient compared to how cs:go operates in that regard.

Counterstrike has stayed my favorite game since I first played back in the 1.5 days. I've seen
some grim stuff..
condition zero..(often not spoken of)
source.. (oh god in the beginning especially)
and now GO, which I had hope for
The recent influx of skin whores gives me flashbacks of the days when I gave COD a chance because
i was the only pc gamer in my group of friends at the time. The constant cries for drops, trades,
give me please, and autosniper scrubs are a daily reminder that I secretly hate the game that I
love.

Oh god, autosniper fags. The worst part is they don't even see anything wrong with using them.
95% of the servers in 1.6 banned the autosniper and another 50% of those banned awp too. I also
miss being able to spray on the wall, god the resolution on those sprays were so shitty it was
laughable. Good fucking times.
