Even the whole idea of "pleb" sounds cliche to me.
Why does everyone say "pleb" as in 'Plebeian', but nothing of 'Patrician', which is the opposite
of Plebeian? I never understood why that word doesn't get thrown around as well.
I wonder if 1337 will ever make a comeback?

I'm using the word as it evokes at least for me the sense of lower classes and ignorance. That's
where you find this maymay nowadays.
And people actually use "patrician".

Somewhat related/unrelated, but I'd really like to hear a version of Sandstorm done by a symphony
orchestra with canons for the percussion effects; kinda like the 1812 Overture.
>>2463101
That's commonly what pleb is used to say, and to be honest, even though most people have heard
Sandstorm, most do not know the title or who Darude even is. Hell, most people have probably
never known what "Popcorn" is despite hearing it as many times as the common person has. But
everyone's ignorant to some extent, there's no way of knowing absolutely everything.

Yes, but pleb is a recognized term, so it can't be a cliche. At least on the level I use it. It's
like saying the word "dog" is a cliche.
>everyone's ignorant to some extent, there's no way of knowing absolutely everything
It doesn't mean that it is impossible to measure certain traits of ignorance based on some
aspects of people's personas.

Philistine would be a more recent/exact word to use in place of Plebeian.
They don't mean the same thing though, so I usually say both.
