The thing I miss most about older cartoons is they actually have some great detail to them, and
not just detail, ROUGHNESS to them.
Cartoons these days are mostly fully solid colors or simple shading, sometimes even gradients.
How hard would it be for them to just open up those frames after vectoring in any typical editor
and just adding some roughness to areas. All independent of each other of course, no shitty noise
filters over the time image.
Stone should be powdery and grainy, grass should be wavy and streaky, etc.
No love for grain.
