I tried Oculus Rift for the first time two weeks ago and I was very impressed! It really felt
like I was there and I do believe in the product. The screen resolution needs to be larger
though, could clearly see the pixels right now when it's only 1080p.
If Facebook can push down the price of the device then it's also great, it's pretty expensive
now. But if it gets cheaper more people will get one and more programs will be made for it etc,
sounds pretty good. As long as they don't force a bunch of stuff on its users (Facebook interface
or something like that), or that can be hacked away easily, I see only benefits.

Also, I've tried 33 different demos so I haven't just tried one single thing and based my whole
opinion on that.
OR combined with those things that you hold in your hands and this will be golden. I still think
VR is best suited for when you sit in some kind of chair though, like car driving or a robot.
Then it would truly feel like you are there. When walking around it was still pretty cool but you
lost the sense of reality since you still felt the seat on your ass when you played.
