  That's level six. Just grind the minotaur for gold and power up your sword of choice.
  Indigo Roger at the Oasis in the same area is a help.

  I'm at level 14 fighting the Guardian Dragon.
  After all the grinding I've done I can barely scratch him with a level 41 Zweihander and 56
  strength. With one attack wider than the character is tall he knocked my health down to a sliver.
  I've put 26 levels into vitality and am wearing level 4 Plate mail.
