Also while wandering around the lake you'll run into Whitney a few times. She just gives you furfag peppers but after the third time you can visit her farm. Then after exploring the farm a bit you'll find a centaur who'll give you a bow and a whole lot of shit. Keep visiting him for training, though eventually he'll say "tits or gtfo", which will eventually lead to "fuck me or fuck off", but that's only if you visit him like 20 times in a row without doing much of anything else. Take a few breathers from visiting him and save before you do and it won't come up.
