Flash is a vector-based format (meaning it stores geometric objects as points in 2D space, not
pixels). If you draw things using the tools in Flash, instead of importing them from other
programs, you can zoom in forever without the edges of lines turning into a mess of pixels.
Using raster images makes sense when you're working with photorealistic images (like the city
background), but for simple cell-shaded objects, like the girl, it's better to stick with the
vector format.

Well my drawings have definitely improved over the years, but I don't see myself changing the

I can tell you that I click flashes mostly mindlessly without reading the title or the subject

Yeah, It's pretty dA. It's a cartoony look that I find works well for comics and straight
vectors. I've done more elaborate pictures with lighting effects and such but those still can't
compare to professional things.
>>2614487
This was somewhat of a hastily drawn picture, but the geometric edges for chins is definitely
part of my style. I use a single corner for a more feminine jaw and a more rectangular one for
masculine characters.

I don't mean to be rude, but you should try actually studying art. Look at other people's (good)
art, draw from real life, study anatomy... do this a lot. I'm not saying you should change your
style and make your drawings photorealistic, but these sorts of exercises will help you develop
as an artist and help you avoid becoming a Deviant Aurtist

Have you considered going to /ic/? I cannot attest to, or guarantee, the quality of their

It's possible to vectorize imported images.
entheosweb.com/Flash/bitmap_to_vector.asp
It tends to result in less efficient sprites than using the in-program tools though.

I didn't take it as rudeness, and even if I did, I wouldn't care, this is 4Chan after all. I
don't necessarily plan on making a job out of drawing. Right now it's sort of just a hobby of
mine. Honestly, I wanted to pick up basic flash animation because I wanted to make my own H-Games
because I'm too cheap to order commissions and the likes.

I don't mean to say that I WON'T change it. I'd alter it to see other people's appreciation, but
I'm saying it'd be difficult for me to do it. I don't find it easy to change a habit of drawing
and still personally like it in addition to it being appealing and unique to others. Like I said,
it's only a hobby.

You asked for feedback on your animation. Fine.
It's lazy. You rely entirely on tweening. You can kind of get away with it because of your flat
colors, thick lines, and simplistic design. Unfortunately though, there's no subtlety of your
tweens, so it just looks like large blocks of your character are moving at once.
You want to create H-Games? You're in luck. Most H-Games rely HEAVILY on tweening. Look at JSK,
Meet n' Fuck, and to a far lesser extent, even ZONE, especially his early work. But the hallmark
of a good H-Game is their art, not their animation. JSK and Meet n' Fuck are only barely passable
because their art isn't literally dA-tier. ZONE is good because his art is very good and he hand
animates where necessary. If you want to make passable H-Games, you will NEED to improve your art
quality. There's no way around it.

Pt. 2
Now, regarding this particular flash. For being on the top of a high-rise, the wind seems
unusually smooth. I would suggest looking at ZONE's Reiko 2 opening for an example of a good loop
of wind. It may not be what you're going for, but it may give you a few ideas.
P.S. Throw that bullshit about "it's my style" out of the fucking window. >>2614513 This anon has

Art style and drawing choices has been commented on and not what I care about so I'll leave that
alone.
Double your frames per second. I don't know what you're using, but It's under 30 and looks like
trash.
Fix the god damn skirt. It just wiggles and completely detaches from the body, especially on the
right side.
I feel having a gap in the line on the left tit was a bad move. I dont know why it looks bad, but
it does.
Her breathing is fucked completely. I can't tell what is inward or outward. Her stomach goes in
while her chest goes out. If you breathe with posture, your stomach wont move. If you're relaxed,
it'll extend with the lungs. It's as if you tried to pass off wiggling her tits and belly button
with a bit of off timed shoulder up and down as breathing.
cont...

The wind timing is alright, but the wind speed doesn't make sense. A wind constant and strong
enough to blow a tie out like that would unbalance you and probably put your body tilted into the
wind to stay standing. Which goes to say she'd also be facing the wind for comfort. More
importantly, her hair would have to be glued to her head to maintain any type of shape and the
flowing strands would be crying for help. Tone back the tie to match either calm wind or redo the
whole scene around sudden bursts of hard wind, your choice.
Lastly, she has a fucking ridiculous chest. Not so much her anime tits, which are bound to be
ridiculous, but the fact she has more fat in her back than the rest of her body combined. Small
arms, sharp thin waste, sharp thin face, almost no neck, skirt hides small to medium hips....
Huge fat chest and back. Trim her down so that the tits poke out the side. I know she has great
back muscles carrying those all day, but that's out of hand.

OP back.
Thanks for the advice. I certainly need improvement and I got a lot more tips then I expected.
I've seen many a flash in my day and I can only hope to get better with the criticism of friendly
neighborhood anon. I took a lot of shortcuts when I made this but it's no excuse for some of the
genuine issues you guys have pointed out. I'll continue practicing and hopefully I can get some
feedback like this again when I make another animation! I'm gonna be in and out of the thread in
strange intervals, but I'll probably still come back and read any other criticisms there are!

well op if you really want to draw in manga style, suggest you watch markcrilley's video's on

on to other howto's for manga and flash.
untill then it's a shitty drawing in a loop.
