It's so much easier to just get DPS and let the game idle while you do other shit, coming back and allocating money as needed and then ascending after you get some hero souls when it's no longer productive to keep leveling your guys. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:06 No.2597812 >>2597805 It's good for starting off, however. Once you get to that point in the game where you can rely on your ancients + hero souls to increase your DPS, then it would become pretty useless. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:07 No.2597814 >>2597812 Even starting off it's only good for maybe the first 30 levels if you're only pumping cid for whatever reason. Getting everyone's first and second upgrade moves things along much quicker. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:13 No.2597821 >>2597798 >>2597805 There's a point where you cannot advance without autoclickers. No matter what rank your Silvytas, Libertyas, and # of hero souls is, you'll start just ending up at the same spot. Don't drop knowledge about the game if you haven't ascended at least thrice. Trust me, it seems like this game is pretty generic, but the ascending and ancients mechanic adds a lot more. Brief summary: You get 1 hero soul for each 200 levels you have in heroes when you ascend, which is something you usually do around level 120ish the first time. One hero soul=10% dps and click damage increase, so 10=doubled damage from initial. Soon you're ascending faster and faster, with around 5x base dps at 50 hero souls, and you start spending the souls on ancients. Ancients give you odd little buffs that hopefully balance out the loss of dps, and you keep advancing upwards. cont >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:14 No.2597823 >>2597821 Two of the best ancients give you +25% dps and +25% gold gain when you haven't clicked in 60 seconds. You get to a point where you get to level 30 before you even buy more than a single treebeast, and level ~130 before you start even needing skills to beat bosses. However, you get to a point eventually where this idle style just fucks you, and you stop getting further due to the hp scaling. At this point you MUST switch to autoclicking if you want to advance. The best ancient (and best example of why autoclicker is useful) to use with this is juggernaut, which gives you +.01 or so dps per click, but you lose it all if you stop clicking for maybe 8 seconds. tl;dr dont talk shit for usin autoclickers >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:15 No.2597827 >>2597823 I should mention you can upgrade ancients at increasing prices, eg the two idle ancients are +25% per level so you're getting like %300 dps and gold gain bonuses after a bunch of levels, same as juggernaut. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:17 No.2597829 >>2597821 I'm well aware of what ancients do, and I've ascended several times. The only time I could see an auto clicker being even remotely feasible is if you have cool downs lowered to where you are activating energize+lucky strikes and super clicks often enough to be doing 15+ crits a second, AND, you have crits buffed with whatever ancient that is. Otherwise pumping herosouls and ancients till you start to get to diminishing returns is the way to go. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:21 No.2597837 >>2597829 Ah, my bad for assuming you're a scrub. THAT SAID! I could be wrong, but I think even before super-optimizing or juggernaut ranking, autoclickers are superior. The maximum clicks per second is 40 (unless it's been changed in the past 2 patches), and the clicking related ancients give you better returns iirc (compare the 25% dps idle ancient to the clicker ancient). Like, right now, kill your idle bonus if you're using the idle ancients, then multiply your click dps by 40 and see if that equals or surpasses your idle dps. Seriously, post the numbers. I could be completely wrong here, I'd like to know. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:22 No.2597840 >>2597821 lol, no dude, you just need to be extremely patient and farm, once you get to lvl 1000 on a hero, instead of the normal x4 multiplier it'll give you an x10 multiplier then your weakest dps hero starts doing 100O+ damage >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:25 No.2597843 >>2597823 You don't lose it all when you stop clicking; it starts to wind down; it's around 20-30 seconds before it start to do this if you stop clicking I stopped playing this /game/ weeks ago; active is the only way to get further, and it's just mindless; shit tier entertainment >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:27 No.2597848 >>2597837 It is. I get better DPS with that combo I said earlier, on my 6th ascension, by clicking 10 times a second (clickstorm), energizing lucky strikes, and activating super click. Crit damage is 18x normal click damage, and that's multiplied by 10 times each second. Yes, it can surpass idle DPS, but it's also active play and dependent on ancients/skills. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:32 No.2597853 The strategy it takes to click, or just watch, that this game requires is outstanding. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:34 No.2597856 >>2597840 Yeah I know, treebeast 1000 is godly. Samurai 1000's beautiful as fuck too. However, the limit I'm talking about is around where you have everyone at 4100/4200, whichever the hero level cap is, including frostleaf. Levels 2000+. >>2597843 Ditto, I ended up just closing it after a few solid weeks of playing because I realized it's just waiting for a number(1) to get higher so you can get more of a number(2) so you can get to a higher number(3) which will let you get a number(1) faster which will let you get more of a number(2) so eventually you can get to the highest number(3), where you then get the highest number(2) and ascend to make a number(4) marginally increase, all so you can do it faster and reach higher numbers across the board in the future. >>2597848 How many hero souls do you have? >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:35 No.2597860 >>2597853 There's only really strategy when it comes to picking your ancients, and even then people on
reddit
have figured out the math to the point that they suggest combos of specific ancients for "early" and "late" game "strategy". Really, all this game takes is patients and knowing what you're doing. >>2597856 >How many hero souls do you have? Currently, 21 for DPS, 10 banked for next ascension, and a handful used across 4 ancients. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:38 No.2597862 >>2597751 >posts b8 of futa porn >in-depth discussion of a shit game >this is /f/ >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:39 No.2597864 >>2597862 /f/uck you too! >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:41 No.2597867 >>2597860 Just an unrelated tip, uh, lemme find you the hero soul optimizer. Turns out soul use is a major loss most the time until you get 30-40 souls as a fluff. http://www.rivsoft.net/clicker/ancientssoul You probably already know about it though, since you mentioned reddit. Anyway, iunno. I just opened up my old save, and at 113 souls (only Libertas and Siyalatas at levels 8/9, though I killed the idle bonus for this test) my click damage times 40 (assuming autoclicker running at max ofc) was marginally superior to my normal dps. >Dependent on Ancients Well yeah, so is idle. The differences between normal idling and idling with Siyalatas is like night and day. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:44 No.2597869 >>2597867 Also, don't forget that active/clicking play doesn't make your normal dps go away. You have both going at the same time. Right now, if I had an autoclicker going I'd make as much as if I didn't have my dps ancient at all, and if I really didn't have it I'd get the benefit of the ~20-30 hero souls I spent on it as raw dps. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:44 No.2597870 >>2597867 >Well yeah, so is idle. Good point. I guess what I was getting at was more of an active play style vs opening it and dicking around on 4chan and looking at it once an hour at most. I think actively "playing" this game is a bit stupid, and if I get to the point that I'm not doing enough DPS with idol damage and good soul distribution I will consider this game beat. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:47 No.2597873 >>2597870 Yeah, I still personally prefer idling. I can't deny that an autoclicker is awesome, but it doesn't feel the same to me. [s]Catgame is still the best idler though, since it actually has a sense of discovery and multiple resources. Plus, it's engaging.[/s] >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:50 No.2597878 >>2597873 Personally I always liked idle quest. You get no interaction with it outside of character creation; and it just runs in the back ground. Your character gets a quest from some drunk to go find the golden dish rag in Rats-Dick-Cave or something and you go and hope to come back alive. I could post the final version if anyone is interested. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:52 No.2597881 >>2597878 Do it. >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:54 No.2597883 >>2597878 http://bloodrizer.ru/games/kittens/ TRY IT MAN TRUST ME ON THIS ONE only real downside is that it's really engaging, you shouldn't/can't afk in it for long periods (hours) without some planning, and you don't benefit from it much >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:55 No.2597885 >>2597881 >>2597882 >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)00:55 No.2597888 >>2597885 thanks mate >> [_] Anonymous 11/14/14(Fri)01:03 No.2597895 >>2597883 Yeah, played a bit of that.
