  Permit when I was growing up ~ Freshman year, so that's two years later, and suddenly blood and

  I didn't take a drivers ed course because when I was 14 I was riding in the car with my mom on a
  highway late one night and all of a sudden a half naked man ran out onto the street in front of
  us as we were going about 60-70mph and he flipped onto our car and came crashing through the
  windshield dead.

  That was the most scarring thing in my life and I didn't get my permit till 21 and my license
  until I was 23.
