I tried to run with it. I, in fact, did run with it...for a few episodes. But the wacky tone wore
thin, and tone was pretty much all that show was running on. I'd catch a later episode or two
when my roommate was watching it, and it was the same old schtick. Nothing about it evolved. You
can be continually absurd, but at least be clever about it.

I tried to watch it, and got about 10 episodes in... ( to the point with Joseph Joe star first
learned that transfer power ability from that french fag) but it is just pretty boring to be
honest... it feels slow and not very interesting compared to other anime
I only started watching the original tho, are the derivatives better? Should I finish the
original (ie 2012 phantom blood) are is it ok to skip? I already kinda know the story line
