  This series does what Big Bang Theory tried, but without any real effort. You see, both series
  makes fun of "nerds" being over obsessed over things, and acting like pointless minor things are
  the meaning of life. However while TBBT makes them sound borderline retarded while laughing hard
  at this, series like Blue Blazes does a homage at the same time it recognizes the ridiculous of
  the whole thing. Metalocalypse for example, does the same for metal fans
