Anon with a 5-yr long relationship here.
Me being 27, her being 24.
We started online, met in an mmo. Have had our share of trust issues but we always work through
it. She gets mad or upset and doesn't like to talk. I more or less force her to talk because it
always makes it better in the end.
Trust is a difficult thing and it really depends on how both handle it together.
She could very well be sincere. Don't forgive her right away, or at all if that's how it plays
out. You need to give her time to make up for it and win you back, set some boundaries. Just
always remember that there is the potential of her doing it again. Be ready for it. If she does
it soon, you shouldn't be nearly as hurt. If she never does it again or if you two just kind of
drift apart because of your own issues, so be it. Never think any relationship is perfect, as
much as you think it might be, as happy as you both might be. But always treat it as if it is.

Really just do whatever you feel is right. If you're happy with her and she seems happy with you,
swears not to do it again, etc etc, it can't really damage you much more than it has. You give
her a chance, observe things and see how she does. See what you can improve about yourself that
may possibly give her even less reason to consider doing it again. Don't change solely for her
sake though. If she isn't satisfied, you shouldn't want to chain yourself to someone like that.

random guys she met. She does not regret it, she does not feel sorry for you, and she will do it
again if you stay with her. She probably blames you for it secretly, and she might use that

two very bad traits for someone you want to be with.
