Area 8. It costs 1,000,000xlevel of armor.
If you want to upgrade your level 1 Leather Armor to level 2, it costs one million. If you want
to upgrade the level 4 Plate Mail to 5, it costs 4 million.
Armor only goes up to level 9, but you can add elemental gems to swords and armor.
I'm swinging a level 37 katana with 550 rubies added. It's good against the Ice Queen I'm farming
for Diamonds.
My level 15 Dagger with 157 Aquamarines can take out the area 9 boss in one swing.

Take note: You can't actually beat the game in this version.
The secret final boss can not be reached, because the way the flash works on 4chan.
This makes the flash easier to beat for the most part on 4chan but impossible to win.

No, you can win. You need to turn the Coin off and then it will be fine.
That said, the game is indeed easier to beat on 4chan if you make it full screen, because you can
go outside the battle area but enemies can't. This makes it impossible for some enemies to hit
you and makes dodging MUCH easier due to the wider area.

Best place to farm in my opinion is the frozen waste in area 15. Easy enemies, lots of moneys.
Not for diamonds obviously, but just for general farming.
