Stop thinking in black and white.
Like lose/lose it's meant to illustrate why games convey messages, how they convey them, and how
violence is not in itself a bad thing.
It gives you a gun and the ability to use it and asks you to make a choice. On one hand, if you
kill, the game moves forward with dialogue. If you choose not to kill them, they keep coming
towards you, never harming you, but never progressing the game.
A lot of this stuff deals with psychological concepts such as Derealization and Zizek's thought
that what we do in a simulation exposes who we really are, beneath all social constraints. For
example, consider how much of /f/ are closet child rapists.
