It's funny because literally anything I tried to play in VLC ended up like this at some point or
another. After having fiddled with that shit for forever, at some point during '06 I switched to
MPC and I haven't looked back. I'm sure that there's a bunch of settings and shit that you can
get into to actually make using VLC good, why would you bother when another player does it right
instantly from the get-go?

the settings a bit and it worked magically from that moment on.

VLC only started fucking up when I started trying to watch some SNK episodes I had downloaded.
Then the player just froze at the start and was in the "stuck" state that old youtube videos used
to go into if you moved the control around too much.

I don't really get this stupid meme
VLC is BEST THE video player out there that's free
i've only ever had decoding issues with dodgy videos with shitty codecs (mpg mainly)
MKV, AVI, MP4, etc all play like a dream and never have this issue
maybe its just because some of the fags who make this meme have a computer so slow it can't
decode the video fast enough.
