Can someone tell me why japan loves this sort of humor? I cant understand why seeing people in
really awkward and novel situations is so funny that they made an entire anime about it, because
as far as I watched thats what monogatari is about, the guy being in a harem and yet hes super

It's not meant to be a comedy show, the entire thing is just pretty surrealist and characters
without much regard for social norms help do that, at the same time it also fleshes them out
because each character still does weird things in their own way.
It reminds me of the nickelodeon manga, it's cute in a way and somehow really comfy to watch.
