File: marriage_feels.swf-(9.76 MB, 426x240, Anime) [_] Anon 3504589 i recommend against marriage. depends on country but in the west the social contract of marriage is broken: it's super easy to get a divorce, nobody thinks worse of the man/woman after the divorce, and nobody equates cheating on your spouse with burning in hell anymore. there's little point, only complicates a breakup and costs you half your stuff. you can be together with someone and have children and build a life without the burden of marriage. you can put on rings to signal your "taken" status and symbolize your love without any legal paper. you can even have a ceremony for it with friends and family outside the system. easy to say if your woman is hellbent on a real marriage but that's my 2 cents. marriage is a especially bad deal for men since the social value goes down for women over time while it goes up for men. with divorce being so easy there's no reason to get married until you've been together for 30-40 years and just want to solidify legal matters regarding inheritance. >> [_] Anon 3504591 >># this my brother went through hell as well, been together with a girl for 10 years and decided to marry her, after 2 years they had a kid and after 2 years she filed for a divorce. It took another year to get the divorce done because she demanded too much alimony. It took another year after the court settled it. My uncle has been living with the same woman for 30 years now without marrying her or getting her pregnant. Do they cheat on each other? Maybe. She takes care of the place while he brings in the money, but he couldn't be happier Marriage is a scam >> [_] Anon 3504613 All I need is my waifu. It'd be like a virtuoso pianist breaking his fingers. >> [_] Anon 2247050 If this whole movie were just these scenes, it would have been pixar's ONLY good movie. Then they had to liven it up with a shitty tie in villain, extremely dumb subplots with very cliche and boring supporting characters. These scenes make you feel elated for young love, hopelessness at their inability to bear children, and tragic loss at a dream unfulfilled in death. In This Flash: Pixar ruins their only decent emotional emphatic film with everything after, and knowing that ruins even these brilliant scenes. THE FUCKING FEELS. >> [_] Anon 2064930 But why wouldn't they adopt one of the hundreds of thousands of MILLIONS of kids out there that are dying because they need a home so badly? Whenever someone just gives up hope entirely of having kids just because apparently a child isn't worth it if it's not your DNA, I just...find it hard to like them as a character. Either they're dumb/a bit of an asshat at best, or, if I'm to believe they're really thoughtful, loving, intelligent people, something like that destroys suspension of disbelief. The rest gives me feels, don't get me wrong, but them just giving up kind of ruins it for me. :/ >> [_] Anon 2064938 how can pixar make a profound and emotional love story in just a couple of minutes while twilight made a shitty love story across 4.5 movies? >> [_] Anon 2064941 >tfw no wife Please...h-hold me, /f/ ;_;7 >> [_] Anon 2064947 >># You sir, are apparently misinformed about the true purpose of reproduction. >> [_] Anon 2064981 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK i didnt want to cry today >> [_] Anon 2064994 >># >no more tears, only dreams now >># yeah, i was thinking about adoption as well Funnily it's never considered in dem movies, if woman can't get chrilden >> [_] Anon 2064995 enough /f/eel for the day >> [_] Anon 2064998 >># If someone has defective DNA, it's an acceptable evolutionary function for them to raise some other meatsack of DNA. There are enough humans that vanity doesn't have to be part of it these days, despite its historical importance in human evolution.. >> [_] Anon 2065035 Honestly, when I saw the end of this scene, I honestly thought Pixar played their hand way too early. I thought, that was it, the rest of the movie couldn't hope to have a good resolution after this. The execution was simply too good. And then the rest of the movie happened and I loved every second of it. The lesson here, do not have regrets. Live your life happily and see the experiences for what they are. They are adventures in their own sense. The future is a great unknown and it is our destiny to explore the unknown and bring back our tales to guide the future. Now get out there and have a fucking adventure you beautiful neck bearded anons. >> [_] Anon 2065048 >># No >> [_] Anon 2065053 fuck you. brain damaged america cannot feel anymore. My heart and soul have been burned out of this bag of meat. Satan has put the steel wool to the inside of our heads and scoured it clean of that which was human.
