Jesus, can they at least pay a professional voice actor to do the dub ? sound like a 5th grader
trying to act.

I understand that this dub is bad; I'm not disputing that, but do any of you know Japanese well
enough to tell the difference between good and bad voice acting? If so, that's great! Watch the
original without subs! I just don't get why people are always against English dub when they don't
understand Japanese at all.
>Because I don't know they're bad, they have to be good!

You can gauge the consistency, tone, clarity and emotional intonations of a voice even when you
don't understand the words.

Same reason I like opera, there's just some inexplicable appeal to languages I don't understand.
Also, some series were edited heavily in the dubbing process and I don't want to miss whatever
was cut out.

I'm the same way. When I listen to music I prefer listened to lyrics in languages other than
English because I just really like how many languages sound.

Maybe I don't know the original japanese one, but what's wrong with the dub here?
It sounded good to me and quite funny.
The voices didn't sound that bad and I rather hear characters that sound normal that doesn't
sound like they were inhaling helium before saying a line.
That, and I guess in the original she called him oniichan and not "big bro". I can't stand the
word oniichan.

yeah, it just doesn't compile
Plus you have to add the fact, that hearing a foreign language is more openminded for new
bullshit, while hearing it in your mother tongue just gives you the full bullshit impact
tl;dr: moe bullshit dubs is what actual japanese people hear
