You don't choose anything. The cars that fare, better, i.e. go further and faster, will have
their traits reproduced in later generations.
You can only control the initial seeds and the mutation rate.

You can indirectly affect the car's torque if you analyze the quirks of the car creator tool.
By tank or bulldozer you mean like tracks or chains? You can do it in the creator but by
experience it isn't very efficient.

No, you can't influence the terrain. That's sort of the whole point.
By tracks I don't mean literal tracks. You can place wheels to function like a track, but no real
tracks.
