This was a Vietnam veteran who shot the officer in all four limbs before executing him.

Disappointing. They should've recorded him being shot nine times and then executed, so it could
be documented on /f/.

voice made it sound like that was the first time someone had pulled a gun on him too, what a way

"Put the gun down now!"
>>Nope.
Never should have come to that. If you pull a gun on someone you need to be ready to kill them
the SECOND they try to escalate the situation. He should have followed him at about 15 feet when
he retreated into his car. When he started rummaging around with his back turned, concentrate and
take careful aim.
The second you see anything remotely looking like a firearm, unload everything you have at him
until he's not moving.
But of course that's all in hindsight. I don't like cops in principle but I eternally feel for
this one. RIP.

I agree, and I imagine that cop would have agreed too, but its hard to keep things straight in
your mind when the shit starts to hit the fan.
I think this really shows that cops need better training so that they can stay calm in a
situation like this and not just freeze up and be unable to act when it matters

The problem was he was too inexperienced, he probably hadn't mentally prepared himself to
actually kill a person, he kept shouting "drop the gun, DROP THE GUN" desperately hoping to avoid
shooting the geezer. He payed dealy for his lack of experience and his hesitation, that's why
they show this video in police academies now a days, to teach recruits what happens when you're
indecisive

Well my grandpa was a navy SEAL in nam, and he seemed to come out of it just fine. It's a person
to person basis, a combination of their actual experiences and their mental constitution.

The cop didn't need to die by the hands of that crazy fuck. You don't harm a cop. EVER. They
aren't above the law or the people, but they are appointed to uphold the law for a goddamn
reason. He wasn't implying that the legal system is flawed. He was implying that the punishment
wasn't enough. The cop was painfully executed, but the oldie was executed painlessly. Kill
YOURSELF, Faggot.

Ok I agree that the fuck stick wasnt justified in shooting the cop, but if a cop is beating your
wife with a night stick for no reason then shooting him is a completely reasonable response
