Do things like this and hoy te amo really strike you as emo? The work of a teenager maybe, but I
dunno man. Animals/people with strange clothes and silly hats.

The fact that Vinnie did these as a teenager is so fucking impressive. He does a webcomic now but
it's all in spanish.

Man, I hope NG sees a resurgence in popularity now that YouTube sucks for animators.

What went wrong for animators on Youtube? I've heard about some trouble before but never got to
know what exactly went down.

Overall, animation online is kind of dead, comedy takes precedence over effort or art. Though I'm
not saying there's anything wrong with funny animations.
But youtube is still a proper platform for them, right? Did something happen?

Basically if you can't shit out 10 minute videos on a fast/regular basis you get almost no
publicity and no ad money. Youtube is almost exclusively for let's plays, vlogs, and clickbait
now. From what I've heard most animators break even with the ad money considering how much time
they spend in actually making it.

Youtube's quality really has dropped so much in so little time. It's very sad really. With the
introduction of Google Plus it's like seeing the end of an era.

They just really need to have separate ad systems depending on the type of content. Which is
probably a lot easier said than done.

Well, when I say that, I really mean how Youtube is more like television than what it used to be.
Steady content from creators with millions of fans, and little support for smaller channels.
That's just my beef with it.
