I dunno man
the only scares I get is an "after-scare" sort of effect, if I watch a scary movie I might be
able to laugh stuff off at the time but if I try to go to bed I'll have trouble sleeping
feels kinda shitty because it's one less genre of vidya and movies I can enjoy

Not the one who brought it up, but usually I find myself thinking a step ahead of things.
Based on how footage is, I might expect the camera to shift quickly to a different perspective as
is normal, so I'm expecting that shift...which is what I end up focusing on.
There's also the fact that I might just plain expect something to jump out...sort of how when
someone says 'hey, look at this' I'm expecting something to happen to me so I'm braced and ready
for whatever attempt to make me flinch/jump ETC happens.
...Of course, I end up doing this in conversations, and end up having the planned exchange in my
head being hilariously different from what we're actually saying and I then get confused.
Yeah. That's my life story I guess.
