  Owls (and some other birds), can keep their heads pretty much perfectly still while their body
  moves, even in ways they aren't expecting (so, in 'random' ways like this video, vs standard
  walking/flying/hopping).

  It's a pretty interesting thing they can do and I would guess being able to recreate this with
  machines could be useful (probably).
