LOL... but seriously, the crowd there was on her side why exactly?

The law? All that I got here was that she was being a bitch to that guy (for some reason). Being
a bitch isn't very nice but that isn't against the law last time I checked.

I think that her being a woman was very much part of the reason the crowd would take her side,
but also because she was in a position of power where she could deny anyone their game.
It was kind of a classic example of how to get a crowd on your side. She made everyone in the
store feel like they were part of a special club (in good favour with her) and that they would be
excluded from that club if they decided to go against her.
I think what was particularly bad about all of this was her tone (passive-aggressive,
condescending) and how she deals with conflict (manipulative, deflective). You can tell she would
be a real peach to work with.

Releasing private consumer information from a company who most likely values privacy and customer
anonymity will drop her ass. As the customer can file a complaint and possibly sue, if he's
hasn't already done so. Even if he has or hasn't been harassed due to her giving out his public
information without his say so. She still threatened/blackmailed him with it. It's enough to make
a case of it, and he would be on the winning side.

Yes well, if that woman makes alot of money for Gamestop and meets sales quotas or whatever, the
people higher up in Gamestop arn't going to really give a shit about loosing a valuable employee
due to "1" customer complaint.
I'm on the guys side here, this bitch can go get a broken skull for all I care. I'm just doubtful
that anybody is really going to give a shit about something like this.
At least with those details that he has there, he can go firebomb her house or something : P.

she was honestly doing fine until this moment. he was an asshole who didn't want to show photo ID
to pick up a preorder that was payed in full. anyone can just march in, claim to be someone, and
take their game, so this is common knowledge. but when she spitefully offered his info to the
crowd she abused her position for personal satisfaction and put the company's reputation at risk.
both parties were wrong, but she was much more wrong and probably didn't even realize it at the
time.

Here in Aus you only need to bring the preorder receipt. ID isn't needed at any point in a game
purchase, unless you're maybe like 12

Gamestop quit caring about their reputation a long time ago when they realized it was easier to
just force everybody else out of business.

As a former gamestop employee, head office is pretty strict over little shit. One of my buddies
actually recently got fired from the store I used to work at because he posted in a facebook
thread that involved how the company was treating it's employees, and about how shit the store
has gone, and he remained completely neutral on the matter aside from making the statement that
"My co workers and I work hard to make the store the best we can".
The manager set him up to get fired, just like she had put me in a position to quit, and
did the same thing to at least 2 other employees besides us
