The intent was to study the progression of fatal radiation poisoning and distances to exposure. This shit - even then - was nothing new for the US. And it would not end there either. It is pretty much a matter of record that shit like this still goes on today. >> [_] Anonymous 04/23/15(Thu)16:53 No.2758997 >>2758937 You're a fucking idiot, that was a British experiment >> [_] Anonymous 04/23/15(Thu)17:27 No.2759020 >>2758997 >clearly in a desert >no deserts in the UK u fucking wot m8 >> [_] Anonymous 04/23/15(Thu)17:31 No.2759026 >>2758997 I guess you're right, Nevada Europe. And those are British marines too! That test was done in 1955. A decade after the US nuked Japan and saw first hand how radiation affected people. They knew the effects of radiation poisoning, but they still marched the troops right through the bomb site. I'm pretty sure the ones you can actually find any record of didn't die right away, however the sheep nearby did. And by the 1960s most of the farmers near there that owned the sheep and tried to sue the government for their deaths had cancer about as bad as the soldiers. Even to this day that blast still kills people in the form of mostly thyroid cancer in the midwest. >> [_] Anonymous 04/23/15(Thu)17:43 No.2759031 STANDING >> [_] Anonymous 04/23/15(Thu)17:53 No.2759034 ON THE EDGE >> [_] friendsofsandwiches 04/23/15(Thu)17:58 No.2759039 There a link for this on the tube? >> [_] Anonymous 04/23/15(Thu)18:22 No.2759055 >>2759039 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkAp5gAYDUQ |
