Yes, I personally know what happened to him. There were mistakes all around within the team. When
you get passionate over something, it's easy to overwork yourself. Then, when someone that you
rely on way too much doesn't want to work as hard you tend to overreact and shut down a project.
That is the gist of what happened. I've always felt guilty over this project being shut down
because my friend who was involved with it was working on it 24/7. But, he was being overworked
and he was a guy who wouldn't say no. I didn't think the project would end. There is your answer.

I never got this western obsession of doing things together, to form a "group", a cliche, a
circlejerk(to do fan things a single person can do). Totally counterproductive.

Because no one is a one-man army. There are things you can't do satisfyingly, while others do it
better, so you team up with them. It's not a western obsession, there have always been the need
to work in teams in every country: for instance, a country's leader gives part of his
responsability because he simply doesn't have time to manage education, defense, public health,
culture, economy and all that jazz with 24 hours in a day.That's why there's often a writer and
an artist in comics (not only cape ones).
