Don't ever buy the attack duration extender. It significantly gimps your damage output and
versatility as it prevents you from casting as many spells. It's the worst upgrade in the game.

The fire and water spell can be dodged.
The lightning spell can be dodged if you are far away from the sorceress.
The sorceress will cast lightning every third spell.
Count the spells after each lightning bolt, and run away from her after she casts the second.
