Something about the dude not showing his I.D which I believe you have to when picking up a mature
game at gamestop.
Though at the same time the chick is breaking a major rule right there by threatening to give out
his personal information. I believe she lost her job after that.

what the fuck?
I mean no one's asked me for an ID when I've picked something that was +18 because clearly I
don't look like an underage and neither does he

Both of their behaviour have not been ideal after he's been asked for his ID.
*BUT!* I've known 16 year old people looking like him. Beard growth and size DO NOT attest for
age.
It was perfectly fine of her to ask for his ID. She's only doing her job and she might get into
serious trouble if she ended up selling a age restricted game to a minor. Even if she justified
it by "well he looked adult, duh. Cuz he had beardhair and shit."
At least I know I wasn't fucking pissed only because I got asked for my ID, when I know
somebody's trying to do her job and not lose it over recklessness.

I like it when people ask me for my I.D. It gives me a false sense of not having yet wasted prime
living years being neet.

This.
Don't know why most people tend to feel offended when things like these can also be taken as some
sort of compliment.
I'd rather look younger than I am.

If her losing her job is true, that's great.
Now all that's left is to hope every smart ass that tried to talk big as he was making his leave
burns in hell.

People who get offended by such things are people who are out to prove that they are adult and
should be treated like an adult

I actually get offended when people don't ask me for an ID....I like to think I still look young
and shaved I could pass for a 17 year old.
Then I realize that almost my entire hair is grey and when I go to the barber he makes stupid
remarks like "you're too young to have hair like this, colour isn't expensive and actually looks
good"...

>She could get into trouble for selling an age restricted game to a minor
No, you cannot. Much like you won't get into trouble for selling a ticket to an R-rated movie to
a minor.
If it isn't rated X or above or it doesn't have and AO rating, then you can sell to anybody
without any kind of legal repercussion.
The rating systems outside the explict ones (X or AO) are GUIDELINES and there is absolutely
nothing that can be done on a legal level for selling them to minors, it is just against company
policies to do so and a lot of distributors willfully enforce those policies.
It is a self-regulating industry.
