your name is Fraunhofer IIS, you don't own the hardware necessary to hear any difference
whatsoever (ref. the blind test mentioned above).
Besides, ALL digital formats are APPROXIMATIONS of true natural analog signals; the very act of
recording it degrades the original signal.
So, in short, the entire concept of "lossless" is a fable foisted by the audio industry to sell
shit to suckers like you puritans.

This is why pleb-teir advice is discouraged.
Erm, you can use RAW in flash publish settings, it will not fuck with the input format. Use
whatever "lossless" codec you like and let the user worry about host codecs for playback.
Your other options are to let Flash transcode the audiostream to MP3 (or feed it one... yuck) or
fuss with the .wav and other format settings.
