I don't think finding underage girls attractive is the same as finding infants or toddlers
attractive. That's kinda the key difference here. The age of consent is in place to protect sexy
teenagers from adults that would abuse them. That is the whole reason there is an age of consent in
the first place.

Actually, no. Age of consent laws were originally made to combat prostitution in London. Because
instead of regulating brothels legally and cracking down on abusive brothels in general which

The laws were made to prevent the prostitution of children. That isn't very difficult to
understand. Beyond that, the major crackdown on prostitution was encouraged by citizens who felt
that the Western world was becoming too uncivilized and amoral.
As for the "See how well that worked out?" I'm not sure what you are trying to imply, but the
result I see is that child prostitution rates are lower now than they were before the laws were

both adults and children alike.
And regarding how well that turned out, it made a black market that is dramatically less safe than
a legal version that the state would profit off of. Basically there's no reason to have a
prostitution ban right now, just as the logic behind age of consent is shaky too. If we want to
claim it's wrong to sleep with someone who isn't fully developed mentally, then age of consent
should be 20 to 30 since your brain doesn't finish growing until then. This is why certain European
countries have informed consent laws where properly educated teens are allowed to give consent so
long as they have a proven understanding of sex.

When legal:

+ They check their girls for diseases and thus prevent spreading. Depending on if you want

+ Help with unwanted pregnancy.
+ Girls are paid a salary and/or percentage. Proper money to those that do the work.
+ No abusing of girls, if the pimp/agency worker hits them she can go to the police.
+ A raped whore can go to the police. Same if someone doesn't want to pay.
+ Taxes are paid on sales.
+ No time-wasting dating just because you're horny and want to get laid (no paying for dinners or
having to listen to stupid crap just to get to that pussy). Imagine all the frustration gone.
Imagine the extra time gained.
+ Removal of power from the "sex denial" that girls can do.
+ Sex for everybody, not just the charming and handsome. People can grow up faster by having sex
earlier.
+ Much easier for male whores to find clients.
+ Pension plans for when they are not attractive enough for the profession.

Basically the only argument to keep prostitution illegal is "moral values". Well you know what?

I honestly think it would create a better and more peaceful world. No more obnoxious guys at the
bar feeling angry because they haven't been laid in a month. No pressure if that chick wasn't
interested in you. Just try someone else and if that doesn't work there's always that soothing fact

It wouldn't reduce birthrate or anything either, except those caused by accidental impregnation and
the government want to rid those anyway. Guys would become sexually active sooner and have more
confidence to start a family when they want to. Child prostitution wouldn't be a problem either btw
since the magic number (age of consent) would still exist.
I'd be willing to bet underage prostitutes would actually become fewer since everything is more out
in the open now and agencies can communicate with each other to find out quicker if someone is
doing something shady (less competition is a compelling cause to make an effort). If a customer
visits an agency that offers obviously underage whores he can report it to the police since he
didn't do anything wrong going there in the first place. Reporters can go undercover to reveal bad
working contitions as well, increasing the standard over time since prostitution agencies know they
are actually being watched even behind the scenes.
Laws would be in place to forbid advertising prostitution in any way. The whore would need to check
the ID of the buyer to verify his age before they get down to business (customer can cover his name
on the ID if he wants to). Street corner prostitution would remain forbidden, you have to have a
phone number/website/building (and the building must look normal from the outside). Agencies or
brothels would need a permit to open, locations near public facilities or schools would be denied.
