It was forced.
I'd imagine people just kept posting and posting it, and Anons just couldn't deal with it, so
they fought back, trying to make the Boxxyfags go away, and seeing how Chanology was happening at
the same time (was it? They're both from 2008, I think, but I might be wrong and Boxxy's from
2009 and Chanology's from 2007-08), moar newfags joined and took a side, escalating it further,
thinking they're in good company. These newfags, seeing that Boxxy was normalfag-friendly,
probably shared it to their friends without worrying about retribution, who undoubtedly shared it
with other normalfags without knowing the context.
Many normalfags probably wanted to know the context howevar, so they looked in the comments,
asking "what is Gaia?", "Gaiafag? Is she homophobic?", "what is a troll?", and "*chan? What is
she referring to?", and the newfags who shared it in the first place, undoubtedly posted the
answers.
These normalfags, seeing that Gaia is for "weird anime people", went to the less retarded place
that they were directed to, 4Chan. The cycle repeats itself at this point, with them thinking
they're in good company by taking a side (undoubtedly siding with Boxxy, since it's what led them
to this wonderful place, or with the antis, since it's what the "cool" kids do) causing moar and
moar newfags and normalfags to appear, at which point the antis could not stop it and 4Chan truly
was more Septembered than it had already been. Boxxy continued to be posted until moot actually
made posting Boxxy a bannable offense, but the damage was already done, and the newfags,
moralfags, and normalfags were here to stay.
This is probably why /b/tards fucking hate Boxxy with a burning passion, as she was one of the
main contributers to the cancer that is killing /b/, and 4Chan in general.
TL;DR: They hate her because she's an annoying meme-spouting retard and an "ex-Gaiafag" who
normalized things like the word "troll" and channer/internet culture in general.

Shit, just checked, and the first Boxxy post is from around new-year's 2009 and Chanology is from
around January 2008 and ended around December 2008.
I hope you could tell by the diction in my last post, but if you couldn't: I wasn't there during
any of this, it's just speculation.
Also, more than anything, another reason that /b/ fucking hates Boxxy is that she made and is
making mad stacks, at /b/'s and 4Chan's expense.
Another thing, the antis weren't good guys either; again, Project Chanology just happened and a
shitload of newfags were there, and even before that newfags were appearing left and right circa
2007, based on the information that I have. Therefore, everyone who posted in Boxxy threads were
faggots, and any attempts to subvert the Boxxyfags were ineffective and counterproductive, since
they were giving her attention without getting tits.
Sorry for all these posts, but that's my two cents.
