Ash = complete BAMF who beat the elite four and is touring the world as champion
In the original planned ending for the Pokemon anime, Ash was supposed to beat the elite four.
Then Mewtwo Strike's back would happen and there would be a timeskip. THE FUCKING END.
But as we now know it, they changed it when the Kanto series was about 3/4 done. Pokemon did not
end after the Kanto League. Consequently, it sucks and should end.

now... almost 500... I've just recently started playing through the original GameBoy games again.
The games are genuinely fun, and I've heard that the more recent editions to the series are a bit
more mature when it comes to strategy and such. However, I can't help but wonder if the series
HAD ended with the original movie. I think we'd have all enjoyed that shit a lot more.

Wow. How I wish the TV series had actually gone this rout and ended. Would have made for a nice
50 ep + movie show.
In regards to the game, while the combat has been tweaked etc... The story telling has just gone
down hill. Seriously, why don't we ever have a real ashole rival like we did back in red, blue
