Despite age of this animation... I remember when Zone animations were actually good. They were
games with options. Now they're all just quick and dirty loops like this one.

I mean, Zone's style is still good, but not as great as it used to be. I don't know if Zone's
trying new stuff, or whatever, but I've realized I'm not the only one with this opinion.
I definitely think Zone is one of the best when it comes to this stuff, but not as "OMG" as a while
ago.

I think it's equally great as before, if not better. It's easy to neglect that you yourself are
changing as well, if his newer stuff would have been released on the same day as when your past
self saw his old flash for the first time you probably wouldn't have said that the older one was
clearly better.
Just look at the animation quality of the tinkerbell loop, I don't think I've ever seen anything
better anywhere. If it wasn't for the fact that Disney doesn't make porn I would have thought they
were the ones that made this.

Well, I isolated this link (http://uploads.ungrounded.net/alternate/877000/877671_alternat
e_24547.mp4) and the video says it's corrupt. I then isolated this link (http://uploads.ungro
unded.net/alternate/877000/877671_alternate_24547.mp4?-62169966000) and it played for one second
before saying it's corrupt.
I downloaded the video (which was a 316MB .mp4) and it played without anything being wrong with it.
I decided to make a .webm but it came out to 291MB so I can't upload that anywhere.
If anyone has a place to upload the .mp4 I'd be glad to.

That 5 min animation filled with tweens would have easily been less than 20 mb, hell maybe less
than 10 mb, had it only been a flash file instead of a god damned video.

Also I know he makes his animations in Anime Studio Pro and not Flash but Anime Studio Pro can
still export to swf files so you are still creating flash animations, just releasing it in inferior
video format....

Just went to Freako's blog and submitted this question:
Why are you releasing the Zone-tan parody in an inferior video format instead of as a glorious SWF
file? I know that Anime Studio Pro can export to flash files. Flash provides infinitely better
quality than any video file (due to its scaling vector graphics) and the file size is also a whole
lot smaller. Many artists are refusing to release their animations as flash these days and it needs
to stop. So give me the reason why you don't release a SWF file please.
I hope he answers. The only real reason I see not to release the SWF file is because you don't want
people to be able to modify your animation. To that I say: So what? That should only be considered
flattering and if other people want to improve your stuff or build on it it's good for everybody.
Even if it's only for porn it's god damned important, where would humans be if we never could stand
on each other's shoulders?

Not being an swf, that video will never see the light of the archive I fear.
There's no reason to grab it off newgrounds and fiddle with it, spare us the conversion.
Well, maybe 1 reason to release it as a video was - I don't have any experience making swfs - but
normally an swf is not seekable. You can add a timeline seekbar, and (with tweens I guess) it will
most of the time do the same as a video seekbar, but if the animation relies heavily on
actionscript, using the seekbar will not properly advance the video-esque animations. I've seen
some flashes where stuff would get fucked up or didn't play at all when using the bar.

The reason is simpler than that. Flash files on Newgrounds (and probably everywhere I assume) don't
work on mobile devices. If you want all the views you are going to make it a video, sad as that is.
I mean, hell, I was looking at my Newgrounds favorites from when Egoraptor just got started and all
of his old shit is now videos too. Shit mad me heated.

they hate flash for some reason since videos of the thing will exist as well
+ when 4k or higher becomes standard resolution for videos such a video can be created from the
flash file by anybody willing to do so
+ most sites don't have the skills needed to watermark a flash file
not releasing your animation as a flash file is not a good idea. ever. unless you have a dildo in
your butt and for some reason worry about people modifying (fixing) your flash. such a thing should
only be flattering.

Don't forget that swfchan has a tool for converting swfs into mobile device accepted format with no
disadvantage.
I can only guess it's easy to release flash files as swf and also as apk.
So creators would only need to release these 2 files and everyone can play them + videos can still
be converted from it.
