The flash is completely over the top with it, but I couldn't count the number of times the warped colours/stuttering video and audio has happened to me while using VLC. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)12:09:29 No.2882910 Gonna install Win 10 on my toaster now. Hope your Fridge running vista can handle that without breaking down and crying OP >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)12:16:23 No.2882916 >>2882907 Again, you must be using a toaster. VLC has always worked flawlessly for me with any video file. Your files must be corrupted. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)12:23:53 No.2882921 >it's not that bad lmoa That there are issues at all is enough to drop it. VLC will be the first crying why their anime looks like garbage. When 10 bit became widespread VLC couldn't handle it for months. While non-brain dead users were ready on day 1. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)13:37:23 No.2882970 is there a reason why not watch everything on KM player? >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)13:39:27 No.2882973 >>2882916 same here. never understood all the circlejerking of criticism for vlc >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)13:41:52 No.2882975 Out of the thousands of hentai I got, maybe a handful of them act like this on VLC. Well the pixelation, but not the color problems, the skipping, the locking up, the discoloration, or anything like that. I would sometimes redownload those same hentai somewhere else and would have no problem. My guess is your VLC or your computer is shit, or your files are fucked up. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)13:43:05 No.2882977 >>2882910 >>2882916 >>2882949 >>2882950 >>2882951 >>2882964 >>2882973 >>2882975 Samefag Enjoy being behind months in video innovation. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)13:49:13 No.2882981 >genuinely confused I've never had any problems with VLC. Is kinda nifty. But like other guys here say, that dates back 7-8 years now. No, my big bitch is how much stuff is coming out on hi10, and NO fcking blue ray dvd player can play them worth shit, even though that format is well over 5 years old now. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)14:26:21 No.2883012 VLC is okay on most hardware, most of the time. The problem is, that's not good enough. It's 2015 and problems like these shouldn't exist when trying to watch my Chinese cartoons. MPC or other software for Windows, works a lot better. I don't know exactly what causes this stuff, but even with decent hardware, it does happen. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)14:58:44 No.2883033 MPC-HC is better in every way. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)15:31:26 No.2883047 >>2883033 >doesn't loop. The only problem I ever had with VLC is the stupid font cache bullshit. I can solve it every so often, but I shouldn't need to every so often. It should only happen once and that's it. >> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)15:36:29 No.2883052 actually, h264 playback is totally like this with vlc 2.x on a p3 system |
