I have literally never had these sorts of problems with VLC. You guys must be watching anime on
  toasters or something.

Lies. The flash is completely over the top with it, but I couldn't count the number of times the
warped colours/stuttering video and audio has happened to me while using VLC.

Gonna install Win 10 on my toaster now.

Hope your Fridge running vista can handle that without breaking down and crying OP

Again, you must be using a toaster. VLC has always worked flawlessly for me with any video file.
  Your files must be corrupted.

That there are issues at all is enough to drop it.

  It's good for streaming

I can't wait for the next update in video tech.

VLC will be the first crying why their anime looks like garbage.

When 10 bit became widespread VLC couldn't handle it for months. While non-brain dead users were
  ready on day 1.

Out of the thousands of hentai I got, maybe a handful of them act like this on VLC. Well the
pixelation, but not the color problems, the skipping, the locking up, the discoloration, or
  anything like that.
I would sometimes redownload those same hentai somewhere else and would have no problem.
My guess is your VLC or your computer is shit, or your files are fucked up.

This happened to me all the time when I skipped around videos back in 2007.

VLC has been fine for nearly 10 years now.

I still have a video CD player that can play VLC and some WMV. Is kinda nifty. But like other
guys here say, that dates back 7-8 years now.
No, my big bitch is how much stuff is coming out on hi10, and NO fcking blue ray dvd player can
play them worth shit, even though that format is well over 5 years old now.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)14:26:21 No.2883012

VLC is okay on most hardware, most of the time.

The problem is, that's not good enough. It's 2015 and problems like these shouldn't exist when
trying to watch my Chinese cartoons.

MPC or other software for Windows, works a lot better. I don't know exactly what causes this
stuff, but even with decent hardware, it does happen.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)14:58:44 No.2883033

MPC-HC is better in every way.

  >doesn't loop.

The only problem I ever had with VLC is the stupid font cache bullshit. I can solve it every so
often, but I shouldn't need to every so often. It should only happen once and that's it.

>> [_] Anonymous 08/22/15(Sat)15:36:29 No.2883052

actually, h264 playback is totally like this with vlc 2.x on a p3 system
