Sure magical girls no longer turn into witches and she stopped that super powerful witch, but magical girls still struggle with their personal demons until their soul are too corrupt to be purified. Now they disappear without a trace leaving their loved ones wondering what happened to them instead of becoming witches. The wraiths actually seem worse than witches. Sure witches caused the occasional suicide and fought with magical girls but they fought in self defense because the magical girls were actively hunting them. Wraiths on the other hand seem demonic in appearance, are openly hostile, cause curses and appear to have a significant advantage in numbers.

Thats the contract you make QB. In return for getting a wish fulfilled and fighting monsters - you know have to deal with the corruption caused by suffering. Remember QB is actively harvested the suffering of these girls (ow, the edge). If the girls weren't suffering, QB would be out of job.
