This is pretty cool.
Only problem I had was when I went back to fight the skulls, the screen froze for a bit. Shit was
still running, but it wasn't showing it.

Runs alright, and is a bit rough. But i am a huge SOTN fan and if you were to improve upon this i
would find it so awesome.
My advice is, improve upon the engine. Make it a bit more polished. Jumping onto single block
platforms was a slight hassle, and i consider myself pretty good at platformers. For some it
could be impossible.
Once the engine is polished, fucktons of people will come out of the woodwork to help you with
content and ideas. Like shit. If not with their own ideas, then at least you can get a mashup of
different sprites from sotn/other games to make your own metroidvania. Levels are easy, just add
in some secrets and rip tilesets from other games. Or have random people contribute their
sprites. Keep up the good work man. Hope this comes out to something awesome.
