this isn't exactly wrong, but its only right if you put every single story and myth about
vampires together, especially the less common and more bullshit-tier ones like the wolfsbane, the
rice/seeds, and such.
when you consider context and take into account the weaknesses that actually appear no matter the
story, you see that it's mostly sunlight (not gonna count anything twilight), running water,
silver/the stake, mirrors and maybe garlic but mostly to repel them for a moment, not downright
get rid of them permanently.
the holy imagery comesmostly from how in the old times when mostly everyone was christian pretty
much everything deemed undead or unholy was weak to holy shit, that or it's because of the "sold
his soul to the devil for power" origin, but if there was such a thing as a vampire i doubt he'd
give a fuck about you showing him a crucifix.
