He really never wanted to shoot the vet, even when the vet reached for the gun. Most police would of just wasted him, he obviously was a nice guy. Oh well that move at the end was stupid but you know it's an intense situation with adrenaline going. The viet vet lived in some harsh conditions, killed all manner of people in nam. You don't just go back to society and be normal after that. The cop having none of that training or knowing what to do in that kind of scenario before - of course he screamed for his life - he was being brutally murdered. The viet vet had no problem with it - he saw it as "If you're weak then don't face me because I've been through more than you so I deserve to live" - which is a common trait from post war PTSD sufferers. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)06:26:28 No.2952279 but if the policeman shoots the vet and kills him then he is put in prison for murder >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)07:04:51 No.2952292 >>2952252 fucking kills me to live in this commie country sometimes.... >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)07:06:21 No.2952293 >>2952252 >execution Is this Saudi Arabia or the dark ages or something? >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)07:12:27 No.2952295 >> 2952293 Yeah, he should have just been put into life imprisonment gen pop, where he'd kill/be killed by some criminals,. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)07:18:51 No.2952297 >>2952277 Kind of sad really when people go through such experiences and don't have much to support them when they get back >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)07:25:05 No.2952300 >>2952297 And the best many Vietnam vets had to return to was indifference. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some super SJW out to make a point and I even dislike cops but this is always hard to watch. So many things could have been done differently on the officer's part like not screaming at him and not firing that final shot when he was beginning to walk away.. But listening to a man scream for mercy/agony then hearing his gurgling final breath is something that fucking gets to me. Makes me wonder what changed. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)09:30:54 No.2952341 >>2952319 pussy >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)09:44:18 No.2952346 MURICAAA! Give mentally ill person rifles YEAAAH! No, fuck that. Do not make excuses for this piece of shit. Everyone has a choice. Just because he had it rough and got a shitty deal doesn't mean it's okay for him to pull out a fucking weapon and waste someone. Could the cop have handled things better? Yes. You can hear the panic in his voice; he was a fucking kid. That scraggly fucking goat could have clearly seen that the cop was a kid, too, but he wasn't thinking about that; he wasn't thinking about anything except himself. Proof in fact because he automatically went and hid under a fucking camouflage blanket after killing the cop. Brannan was a disgrace to the uniform and a disgrace to men. Good fucking riddance. >> [_] Anonymous 11/16/15(Mon)11:01:24 No.2952368 >>2952275 Don't cut yourself on those edges bro |
