I chopped trees in the morning, played my lute around my campfire at night. Eventually everything came to me. I had a best friend, online landwhale harem, and a whole bunch of random bitches around my fire every day. Felt good. Probably the most immersive mmo experience I've ever had. But one day I lost it all.

We get to the boss, he comes up with the brilliant idea to troll me, I die and just freak out. Don't know why I did, but I bitched at him for like 30 minutes and then stopped talking to him. Ended up quitting the game shortly after. Didn't feel right without my wingman. years later I jumped back on just to check it out. Still managed to remember my login info. There were people I barely ever talked to back then who still remembered me. Felt good, but I couldn't get back into the game. Then recently I checked the game out again, giants and shit. Wtf m8? Only stayed on for like 10 minutes before uninstalling

RE: Mabinogi Oddly I have similar memories of enjoying this game greatly for a very short period, then stopping playing abruptly. Even checked back in 5-6 years later and just couldn't find any reason to try again. For all its charm, uniqueness, music, and harem of hot ass goddesses, it was a lot of grind to get not very far. Also, my archer/ice mage spec was a disaster once I got out of the early levels for whatever reason.
