Music from western movies is so fucking awesome. What tradition is it even from? Did they just
take the normal orchestral style of sound track and mix it up, make it evoke open spaces? It's
hard for me to believe that such an awesome musical language doesn't have antecedents. Is it like
an operatic tradition or something?
Maybe it's just this Ennio Morricone guy, he did "Man With a Harmonica" which I really recommend

this music is so fucking good. i love the movie so much i went to my local music store and i
managed to find an old, dusty copy of this very soundtrack hidden under the piles of film
soundtracks.
it's the best film of the dollars trilogy and i'd recommend anyone give it a watch if you have
about 3 hours to spare. gives me chills just thinking about an absolute classic such as this.
