In terms of social rehabilitation, that is the only major downside to it. Everyone you've ever known will be dead, your skill sets may be irrelevant, or possibly highly valued, by that time. It will really be like time-travel where you're thrown into a world you know nothing about. However, I'm willing to take that risk and uncertainty. I would much prefer a miserable existence compared to none at all. If the absolute worst came to past, you could always just kill yourself again. You've been dead once already, what's another time?
