It is able to kill enemies fast enough to survive their absurd spawn rate without having to trick them into crashing. The buttons on the right determine what spawns in each waves. It's a poor excuse for a proper difficulty curve of enemies spawning and the like, but it seemed useless to meticulously design that only for us to add more enemies later and have to redesign it again, so this is a stop-gap of sorts. That's why our focus is on enemies for the moment, since we'd like to get to a point for it to be playable for one plane rather than unplayable for many planes. Like in luftrausers, not shooting makes you regenerate HP after a short delay.
