It says something about the Shift key, but I'm not sure what it does.
The options during battle seem to be (Left to Right, Top to Bottom)
1. Attack
2. Guard
3. Use Item
4. Locked?
5. Run Away
6. Locked?
Does the shop ever reappear on later floors to make use of the money earned?
And does it ever stop healing you for equal damage you took after a battle?

Shift Key can take you to the player menu when not in battle.
There, you can view and use items in the first option, and I am unsure what the second option
does.

All items can be placed into equip slots. Consuming items allows you to heal hp and sp. It's a
balancing act. Some items will give you a a skill that can be used in battle. These ones are the
one with longer descriptions in addition to stat increases.
As with other japanese style rogue-likes you delve into the dungeon leveling up and collecting
items to consume and equip. Upon death you are returned to the lobby room where you can sell your
items and save up to buy the better items.
