Im glad that .mkv is winning the fight yo. >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)03:47:22 No.3073412 I've only had problems with vlc trying to run it on a 400Mhz pentium 2 with 125MB of ram dunno what you people are bitchen about. >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)03:55:03 No.3073414 name of animu? >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)03:55:39 No.3073415 >>3073387 THIS >>3073383 Why isn't important, just knowing it does is all the battle. >>3073389 K-Lite covers it all. Nothing else really matters, anything else is simply a subset of K-Lite's collection of codecs and settings. By the way, you don't actually need to use MPC with it, it's just best and most conveniently bundled. But VLC still won't play nice in spite of having all the best codecs. >>3073412 It fucks up on most machines I've tested this on as high as 2GHz CPU and Intel embedded graphics of most flavors. It seems not to fuck up as long as there's an Nidia card/chip and at least a 2GHz processor, and the more RAM the better. tl;dr - VLC is a fucking resource hog, sucks on 60% of systems-in-the-wild >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)04:06:21 No.3073419 >>3073415 I really dont get what people's problems are with it still. I have used it on many devices. the only time it ever had any issues was on a computer that just couldn't handle playing videos, end of story. Other then that, my laptop's A8, my current laptop's I5 g1, my desktop, my old macbook pro and more The only files it has had issues with are ones that other media players had the same issues, or wouldn't play at all. if you people are really having serious problems with it you probably fucked up your computer somehow, or are running a potato. >> [_] Lèla Null 05/02/16(Mon)04:12:08 No.3073420 >>3073414 Yuru Yuri >silver spoon >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)04:56:02 No.3073434 >>3073420 thankies >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)05:05:58 No.3073435 i had more issues like this with winamp than vlc. >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)05:10:15 No.3073436 >not using Quicktime >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)07:01:30 No.3073459 I just compared KCP with VLC and there's actually not much difference in picture quality desu Wouldn't know about playback though as I only use VLC for streams >> [_] Anonymous 05/02/16(Mon)07:09:13 No.3073460 Thanks.
